Not too big a task today. We are just going to dust the shelves in the living room area of the house. Make sure you get all the shelves and do the "good kind of dusting" aka: pick stuff up and dust the entire shelf.
While you are dusting the shelves take a good look at each thing you pick up and dust. Does it mean anything to you? Is it adding to the clutter in the room? Do you need it? If your answers to those questions are no, yes, no, then it's either time to trash the item or add it to a donation box.
And if you haven't already started a donation box at the beginning of this month, now's the time to get that going. Find a big box and put it in the corner of a room or a closet and mark it "Donations". Now you've got a spot for all those things you no longer need!
Catch up on the full 31 Days of Simpler Living tips that I've posted!

I am thrilled with your small bites – big impact tips. (how do you eat an elephant, one bite at a time) I have been trying so hard to get organized once and for all and to simplyfy my life.. In the past 6 months I have emptied out hundreds of items from my home, set up a large pantry, made a budget and numerous other things. Now I am down to the smoothing the edges and bringing it all together stage. Having fibromyalgia, I often find I cant do the big attack and these daily tips are perfect for me. Thanks so much.
