As we have been cleaning out the house I've been creating some simple decor based on things that I dig up around here. I thought it would be fun to share my "free" decor ideas with you! We don't really buy alot of decorative stuff because it's too expensive and I like to be able to change it up every so once in a while. The picture above is what I created the other day. While I was cleaning out my crafty closet a few days ago I found these colorful flowers. I'm not sure when or where I picked them up but they were just hanging out way up in a box in my closet. The "vase" is an old olive oil bottle I found while cleaning out under my kitchen sink. I pried the stopper out of the middle and just stuck the flowers in. It's amazing what you can create with old stuff you have lying around! More to come...watch for Part 2.
