When you visit the Donors Choose website you can pick who you'd like to donate to based on poverty level, location, or specific needs. DonorsChoose.org then delievers the needed classroom materials when each project reaches its goal.
While looking through the projects that needed donations I decided that I definately wanted to donate to a local classroom so I narrowed my search for projects in South Dakota. One of the projects I came across was a teacher looking to purchase educational games for her classroom in White River, SD. When I was growing up we LOVED all the educational games that we got to play during school. I remember loving them so much that we played them during lunchtime and after school was over too! My mom couldn't purchase enough games for us to play! I think educational games are a great way to learn and to teach.
