We ended up camping last week so I used some of my canned items and easy items for meals. I also ended up being sick for most of the week so nothing fancy was made! Now that the weather is starting to cool off (hopefully!) the vegetable bounty is going down and we have less variety to choose from so my meal plans will start to get a little more "planned". Don't forget that this week my new ebook, Meal Planning Made Simple, will be released!

I’m a leftover people too. I don’t plan lunches at our house because I rely on leftovers. If we don’t have leftovers, I usually just do cheese, crackers and fruit or a scrambled egg with some veggies or something. My 7 year old packs his lunch, but I have a 5 day rotation of “entrees” for him with a reserve few extra ideas. He never gets tired of a peanut butter sandwich or cream cheese rolled up in a whole wheat tortilla.
I love this so much! We are trying to have frugal gluten/free free also. My major challenge is kids lunches, its almost tempting to homeschool we would save a fortune!
