These mixes don't have the "healthiest" ingredients, but they sure are a special treat in the midst of a cold winter.  They make wonderful Christmas gifts to give in a decorated jar, also.

Homemade Cappuccino

  • 1/2 cup powdered coffee creamer, plain
  • 1/2 cup powdered coffee creamer, french vanilla
  • 2/3 cup instant coffee crystals
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon
  • 1/4 t. nutmeg

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.  Fill jars for gifts or container for yourself to enjoy.
Add approximately 3-4 Tablespoons of mix to 6 ounces of hot water.

Homemade Hot Cocoa

  • 11 cups instant dry milk
  • 6 ounces powdered coffee creamer (I usually add in a bit more)
  • 1 lb. of chocolate drink mix (like Nesquick or store brand)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.  Fill jars for gifts or container for yourself to enjoy.
Add approximate 1/3 cup mix to 1 cup of hot water

Until next time, Julie
