I just stumbled across your blog because I have been curious about almost everything to do with health lately. I made a comment to a friend one day on the topic of toilet paper causing cancer (mostly as a joke) and I googled it (cause it got me thinking….maybe its not a joke) which brought me to your site.

So thank you and keep up the good work!

I too will probably start a blog soon and will definitely make reference to your site (if that’s ok).

Oh wow. I just stumbled onto your site and saw from your raw milk post that you live in the Black Hills area as well?! My husband and I just moved here in December, and started buying from Black Hills Milk in April. We’re learning as much as we can about living more naturally, and just started a blog, though we haven’t gone public with it yet. I’m looking forward to reading your posts!

Your page is fantastic! Do you have suggestions for people that would have primarily the weekend to do the bulk of their self-reliance/simple living activities? My husband is in the Army and I work full-time. By the time we both get home its 6pm. Then its cook dinner within 30-45mins, eat, shower then bedtime routines (we have 3 kids 6yrs, 4yrs, and 2yrs). We are starting a garden this year as our new house (we rent) has a greenhouse and a very large yard, but we are trying to think of more ways to be sef-reliant, live simplier, cut costs, teach our children be appreciative of what they have, etc.
