This is one of my favorite on-the-go snacks. It doesn't take long to make and it's so easy to take along! Now I'm not talking about those cardboard crackers that you can find on store shelves. It's too easy to make your own to be buying those! I like to make up a double batch of whatever cracker I'm planning on bringing (or a single batch of each of them!) and then in a separate bag I pre-slice cheese to have with the crackers.
I've already got several cracker recipes posted. Each of these recipes can easily be altered to add different or more flavors.
Now if you'd rather get all fancy and make a Cheese Spread instead of taking along cheese slices you can whip up this mixture in a jiffy!
Cheese Spread
- 1 part cheddar cheese
- 1 part cream cheese
So if you use 8 ounces of cream cheese you will also need a cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Pulse together in a food processor until creamed together. Depending on the sharpness of your cheddar you may need to add a little salt. (I use sharp cheddar and do not add any salt.) For fun you could add spices or herbs to make different flavors!

all of your cracker recipes look delicious. what is the roller tool you’re using?
thanks,
tameka
It’s just a double sided roller. I think this one is Pampered Chef brand.
