We like to roast them or enjoy them glazed as a special snack. Here is an easy recipe for two healthy, delicious snacks using almonds.

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons of soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon of red pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt

How to make:

Place the raw almonds in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a bowl large enough for the almonds and room to stir, stir together 4 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.

When the almonds are done in the oven, transfer them to your bowl with the sauce/seasoning and mix well to coat them. Spread them back out on your cookie sheet pan while warm and sprinkle them with approx. 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Let them dry. Enjoy!
