I bought your book Little House Living. Love it. I too, although I live in a city, live frugally and am lucky to have half an acre. I have signed up for you blog. I had a rough winter and your book has inspired me to get back on track. Thank you. Angela

I borrowed your book from the library via my Kindle app, but after copying a few recipes, I found there was way too much good stuff, and your book was a definite BUY. It arrived today. I’m thrilled! When my 3 boys were younger I homeschooled all of them. We used the Little House books as a unit study. We made homemade plum preserves, cheese, and their favorite, cracklins. We didn’t have a cookbook. We took the ideas straight from the books.
Fast forward to the present. I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for 2 years now, and I’ve become deathly allergic to food additives and preservatives. I’ve had to use my Epi-pen at least 6 times in the last year, along with many ER visits. Obviously this means I had to change my diet. Your book is a Godsend. I know I’m supposed to eat as close to raw and unprocessed as I can, but when it comes to putting together a meal, I’m useless. Plus, most of the time I’m too fatigued and in pain, so my husband will cook. But he cooks from a can. I can’t eat it. So your mixes will help tremendously in that department. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
P.S. I also can’t wait to try some of the moisturizers and other beauty product recipes. They look yummy too!

Just love your book. Bought it for my nook, like it so much went and bought the hardcopy. Now my daughter is trying to grab. Live in a city area but I like all the stuff in it. I like to do things from basics . It is a gray book. Can not wait for your next one

I love love love your book need a new one already. I see this as the perfect wedding gift, Christmas gift, house warming etc. I have read and re-read each page every-time you find something new like treasures. You are a true inspiration to me and I am sure many others. Oh I would love to leave my little apartment and have a 1/4 acre at least to garden but not in the near future I am sure. I just wanted to say thank you for what you give us with each email, your page/blog. Certainly a fan…looking forward to whatever you bring forward in the future.
Best regards Jo Ann

I love you book and find everything in it useful. My dream some day to just be able to homestead. I would also love to home school my kids. Right now, I make the most of what we have. What we save goes into savings for out homestead or paying off debt. πŸ™‚ Thanks for doing this book!

I love that you are so open and honest on your blog. I am a frugal person but have learn so much from you–some had to be tweaked because of where I live. Thanks for doing sharing your life’s journey. It is something I have wanted to do and hope that someday I can. πŸ™‚
