I thought I would post this recipe because of the chicken that's on sale at Safeway this week. Its super cheap and costs about $1.50 to feed 2 people.
4 Chicken Drumsticks
1 can Stewed Tomatoes(with basil or something in it, you can buy these cans at XS Direct for only .69, or if you live in the Northern Hills buy them at Shop 4 Less in Whitewood for only .33 per large can)
About 2 t. Cooking Sherry
Put ingredients together in a crock pot and cook for about 3-4 hours on high. Recipe can be doubled depending on how many you are serving. Serve with rice. This may not be the best meal ever but it's pretty cheap and fast to throw together on one of these warm nights were you really don't feel like cooking!. Enjoy!
