I thought it’s be fun to let ya’ll know what books I’m currently reading! I love cookbooks and thrifty living type books. If you have any suggestions to what I should read next I’d love to hear it!
I haven’t started this one yet but my mom has it and I’ve been wanting it for a while. I’m excited to read the section on canning convenience foods.
I just got this one in the mail today and I’m super excited about it. It’s all about making your own everything! It’s got chapters on how to make everything from sausages to household cleaners to shampoo. Hopefully I can learn something new!
I got this one to check out and see how good it was because I may or may not be giving away a copy for an upcoming giveaway….:)
This book had great reviews and it’s very detailed about things like homesteading, building your own place, planting a garden, raising animals, and so much more. The hubby really likes it so far!
Ok this book is totally cool. I just got it yesterday and I already started making things from it. While food allergies I can’t buy most convenience foods and sometimes I’m just too tired to cook! This book tells you how to make all sorts of different mixes to store either in the pantry, in the fridge, or in the freezer. Then the rest of the book has recipes that use the mixes. I started making the pudding mixes today and I’m going to store them in glass jars in the pantry.
