As I sit here and make my Safeway list for this week I’m pondering over whether or not to buy the Campbell’s soups that are free this week after the coupons and ecoupons. I know that it’s free so it only costs my time to get it off the shelf but I also know that it’s something we don’t use and probably won’t since I can’t eat alot of premade things and almost no preservatives. But then again….it’s free……
I know that everyone has a different thought on this subject so I’d like to know what you all do in that kind of situation. Do you skip it, even though it’s free? Do you buy it anyways knowing that you may never use it and it will sit in your stockpile forever? Do you get it free so you can donate it?
To tell you the truth, I don’t take advantage of every free thing out there. Maybe I should but even if I get it with the idea that I will donate it, I don’t really have the extra room to store it until I have a big enough bag to donate. I do get free things when even though I know that I won’t use it I know someone that can. Maybe in a way that’s the same as donating?
In the case of the soups above, I’ve added them to my list and I’ve got the coupon ready. This time I will take advantage of the freebie. Not because I will use it but I know someone that can and will.
What are your thoughts?
