Carrot Top Pesto – Using the Garden Veggies
Welcome to August, the final month of our Using the Garden Veggies series! I hope that you haven’t gotten bored with the recipes just yet because we still have some yummy ones to share with you!
This week’s featured veggie is the Carrot, but probably not the part you are thinking of…this year we are featuring a recipe using carrot tops!
Carrots can be used in many dishes as an added veggie (such as in soups) or you can enjoy them plain as well, either cooked as a side dish or raw in a yummy dip like one made with this HRanch Dressing Mix Recipe.
As you will see from the featured recipe today, Carrot tops are completely edible as well. If you are trying to use everything you are growing in your garden, this is a great way to do just that.
For the recipe today, head over to Sidewalk Shoes.
