Here’s that chicken breast recipe I promised plus some tips and stuff: )
Baked Chicken Breasts
2 chicken breasts
1/2 c. chicken broth(I buy powdered chicken broth in bulk, way cheaper!)
3 T. mayo
3 or so T. shredded Cheddar cheese
3 T. apple juice
Mix the mayo, apple juice, and cheese together. Put chicken into a baking dish that’s just bigger than the chicken. Put the mayo mixture over the tops of the breasts. Then pour the chicken broth around the bottom of the pan. Bake at 350F
for about 30 minutes or until chicken is browning on top and done in the middle. Recipe can be doubled and tripled.
Bagel Chips are what I make with bagels that I have that are too old to eat. Maybe they have a little green stuff growing on them or they’ve been in the freezer too long. It’s not really worth it to buy bagels just to make bagel chips because they usually are too expensive. I enjoy serving mine with a artichoke dip.
Cut bagels into small slices or pieces. Usually the thinner the better. Bake in the oven at 350F for about 10 minutes. Then pull out the pan and flip them over. Bake until they start turning brown.
I store my bagel chips in the leftover bread bags or in a reused Ziploc bag. I always reuse plastic bags.(unless they had meat in them) My husband thinks I’m crazy but why not? You can get double or triple the amount of bags you paid for!
