Easy Strawberry Smoothie
Snacks vs. Meals.
It’s the big debate in our house, because while I slave (ok, maybe not literally) away making three healthful whole food meals every day, my daughter would really just prefer to snack all day.
String Cheese.
Peanut Butter Balls.
That’s really all she wants to eat.
Which is why I came up with this EASY Strawberry Smoothie recipe. She thinks she’s getting a snack, but I know she’s getting all the nutrients she needs in a light meal. I love that this smoothie is packed with vitamin C, probiotics, and fiber.
Ingredients in Easy Strawberry Smoothie
- 1 cup sliced strawberries — even better if they’re frozen
- 1 cup milk (I prefer almond milk, but any variety works)
- 1 cup Greek Yogurt, plain or vanilla
- 1 banana (can be frozen)
- 1-2 tbsp honey
Optional nutrient booster add-ins: 1 tbsp chia seeds, ground flax seends, or wheat germ.
Step by Step Instructions for Making Easy Strawberry Smoothie
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on the highest speed until everything is thick, smooth, and delicious.
This recipe makes 3 cups, so you can keep it in the refrigerator (or even freezer!), or share with a friend.

We used to make a smoothie just like this one and serve it with toast for breakfast. Thanks for the reminder, I’d kind of forgotten about it.

it turning watery and tasteless is indeed a plus. thanks for your wisdom.

I was just wondering do you happen to know how long unopened greek yogurt lasts in the fridge I have had some for awhile a long while and I have not thrown it away cause I dont like wasting. Thankyou for this recipe too
Made them for the kids to go with dinner: Vanilla Almond Milk, Organic Plain Greek Yogurt, Ground FlaxSeed, Banana, Strawberries, Blueberries and Honey…Kids Loved them..
I am lactose intolerant and can’t get lactose free yogurt in my area. I can get lactose free ice cream. Should I just increase the amount of almond milk or replace the yogurt with the ice cream? Thanks
I would just replace the yogurt with ice cream. Yum!
