Garden Recipes With 5 Ingredients or Less

I do not love cooking in the summer. Summer heat + no air conditioning makes my kitchen feel like a sauna and brings my appetite way down. We love munching on all of the fresh garden goodness though!

I’m all about simple and to the point meals during this time so that’s why I came up with this list that I think you might be able to use too! All of these yummy garden recipes are made with 5 ingredients or less. (Not including salt and pepper.)

Tomatoes

Tomatoes are my favorite garden plant to grow. There is nothing that can beat the taste of a fresh from the garden tomato! Here are some yummy tomato recipes with 5 ingredients or less. (Learn how to freeze tomatoes here.)

Potatoes

  2. Mmmm, everything looks so yummy!!! I’m a tomato fiend and can eat them for months!! We love, love, love brussel sprouts at our house, and we make them with bacon, onions, and olive oil. We bake them until they caramelize- so good!!

  6. We do love our fresh veggies in the summer I like the first recipe with the stuffed tomatoes. NO air conditioner? Ouch! We already have triple digits heat index here in the south, that’s rough. Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday.

  7. My mom started me on making an easy dish with zucchini. Just saute onions in a large pan in a little butter (or a lot if you like) then add cubed zucchini & chopped up tomatoes (amounts don’t matter) and cook until zucchini is tender. Remove from heat and sprinkle liberally with grated cheese. Delicious!
