Homemade Pink Lemonade
Looking for a simple spring and summer drink to enjoy?
I love having a delicious glass of Homemade Lemonade once in a while, especially on a hot day. It’s simple to make and fun to enjoy on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Homemade Pink Lemonade is a special treat…did you know that there is actually Pink Lemons? Maybe you did…being in a northern state I tend to be fascinated by all things citrus. 🙂 Pink Lemons are in season in late winter through early summer. They may not be available at all grocery stores but if you are looking for a fun and special treat they are worth watching out for.
Now before you panic…yes I realize this recipe has quite a bit of sugar. I don’t really enjoy drinking straight lemon juice, do you? If you want to replace some (or perhaps even all) of the sugar, Stevia would be a good substitute in this recipe. Otherwise, enjoy as a special treat.
