Who loves peanut butter?

I sure do! I love peanut butter. A lot. When I first married my husband, he was very grossed out by peanut butter. The taste, the texture, how it felt in his mouth. But of course, it grew on him since I made and bought a variety of foods with peanut butter in them.

The other day I made a peanut butter pie. So easy. No baking involved (unless you make your own pie crust, like I did). Even though it is called peanut butter pie, I think it more like a peanut butter cheesecake. Mmmmmm. So yummy! Here’s how to make peanut butter pie:

Peanut Butter Pie

What You Need:

Steps:

  • Beat together sugar & cream cheese.
  • Mix in the milk & peanut butter.
  • Beat until smooth.
  • Fold in whipped cream.

  • Scoop into pie crust.
  • Sprinkle Reese’s crumbs on top.
  • Cover & freeze.
  • Take out a few minutes before serving.
  • And that’s how to make peanut butter pie!

I have seen this pie made a variety of ways. Some make it fluffier and don’t freeze it. Others use an Oreo pie crust. Or top the pie with whipped topping. Maybe one day I will try other methods. But I like this pie just the way it is.

Will you try this peanut butter pie?

  1. This sounds really good! Just one question, the directions say to beat together the sugar and cream cheese. How much sugar? I don’t see it on the ingredient list. Thanks.

  2. Mmm that looks delicious! My husband and kids LOVE peanut butter. Maybe ill make this for fathers day.

  3. Hi Erin, I make a peanut butter pie, however I want to try yours I think I might like it better but like Arlisa above mentioned I don’t see how much sugar to add. It’s not listed in the ingredients. Can you add the amount or post it? Thank you so much, sounds so yummy!!

    1. It is a 1.5 cups of confectioners sugar.

—don’t know how I forgot to include that important ingredient to the post!

      Hope that helps. Enjoy!

  4. I just made it and it is fantastic! I omitted the 1/2 c of milk for a thicker texture so I could serve it right away, it was a hit. Thank you.

  5. Wishing you a peaceful Memorial Day Weekend and thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday.

  6. I am SO glad you shared this at Pinworthy Projects! I have a slight obsession with peanut butter and chocolate!

  7. ABSOLUTELY hilarious about your husband not liking peanut butter when you first got married – SAME HERE!! But, I’m not so happy that he has started liking it because now I have to share all those peanut butter and chocolate delights – like this pie or a bowl of ice cream! Lol!

  8. I am agreement with you…..the pie looks and sounds amazing just the way it is. I am not a fan of peanut butter on it’s own. I will never eat a peanut butte sandwich, of on crackers..but my favorite candy is Reese’s Peanut butter cups and I think peanut butter cookies are the best ever. This pie looks amazing, pinning it to make soon, I am sure I will love it. Thank you so much for sharing it.
