I happened upon this article from the Dakota Local Food Network the other day and I thought, “Hmm…that does look like a challenge!” But I think it’s one that we can handle!
Dakota Local Food Network is challenging anyone to eat local for 5 days in a row between the days of August 1st through August 23rd. Everything on the table must be local. Here’s the rules:
- Everything eaten must have been produced within a 200 mile radius of you.
- You must pick one item that you find to preserve for later.
What do you think? Is it possible? Should we do it? We are going to think about it and I’d like to know what you think!
