I’ve already begun to think about all the fun things in store for Little House Living in 2015 and I’m so excited to finally get to introduce to you a series that I think we will all benefit from!

Starting in January 2015 we will be starting the “Making the Most With What We Have” series. Interviews from this series will post on the first and third Fridays of each month. Each interview will be fun questions for YOU to answer as we interview different families and individuals on their journey to the simple life. I think it’s going to be a great and informative series that we will all be able to learn from.

Let me tell you a few more details about this series and how you can participate!

What Is It?

A fun, informative series where we will look into the lives of other individuals and families on their journey to live the simple life.

Who Can Participate?

Anyone that is striving to live a simpler life…no matter what that means to you and no matter where you live. You could live on a farm with 50 acres or maybe in an apartment. It doesn’t matter! As long as you are practicing the modern homesteading “rule” of making the most with what you have, we want to hear from you!

Will Everyone’s Interviews Be Posted?

We will hopefully post as many interviews as possible, but I can’t promise that every single interview submitted will be posted. Your interview is more likely to be posted if you take your time on it, include great tips, and great pictures!

What Kinds of Things Are Asked in the Interview?

You can view the entire interview at the link below, but for the interview you will want to collect some of your best tips, your favorite recipe, and have a few pictures of your life and style handy.

How Do I Submit an Interview?

What’s the Goal of This Series?

I hope that from this series we will all learn some valuable tips for living the simple life…no matter where we are! I hope that it will be an inspiration for those on different parts of their journeys, whether you are still in the dreaming phase or if you have been living the simple life for years!

More Questions?

Please feel free to Contact Me (Merissa) with any questions that you have about this series!

I’m so excited and looking forward to the start of this series in January! I hope you will participate or that you will at least plan on keeping up with the series as we go along. We have a wonderful little community of readers and I think we can all benefit greatly from each other’s knowledge!

  4. I’m so excited to see this! I made this a New Years Resolution a few years back, based on the Teddy Roosevelt Quote: “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”

I called it my Roosevelt Project, and it did NOT go well…we became pregnant in March. :o)

I’ve been considering re-trying…maybe this will be my push!

  5. I love this idea! I loved when you shared your reader’s garden pictures so we can see how other’s live. This will be amazing and I’m really looking forward to it!
