New York Cheesecake Recipe

This simple New York Cheesecake Recipe may look plain, but it’s got to be one of the best cheesecake recipes out there! This recipe has been a staple that I’ve been making for many years and it’s very easy to customize. Add a lovely fruit sauce like my Simple Blueberry Sauce recipe over the top or add a few berries or chocolate chips into the batter. No matter how your family likes to enjoy their cheesecake, they are all sure to love this recipe.

What You Need:

  • 1 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (can use Homemade Graham Crackers)
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3 8 ounce packages of cream cheese
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 egg whites

Melt the butter and mix with the crushed graham crackers. Spread on the bottom of a spring form pan and pat down.

Then soften the cream cheese and mix with the remaining ingredients. Pour the cream cheese mixture onto the packed down graham crackers.

Bake at 300F for 1 hour or until the top starts to brown slightly.

And as you can see from the picture I put pureed strawberries on top mine this time…..yum!

I have a deep love for all things cream cheese so I’ve added many different types of cheesecake recipes to Little House Living over the years! Some of my favorites are my Crustless Chocolate Cheesecake (must try!) and this Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Dip. Here are some of my other recipes that you might want to try as well:

Oh, my…I might have a problem…

Does your family enjoy cheesecake? What variations will you make to this recipe?
