Here is a picture of my garden – you can see the tomato plants in the wire cages – but we got a visitor – look who decided he was hungry. He ate some of my tomatoes, green beans, raspberries, and more. Submitted by Lisa in Maryland

This is our great science experiment! Sweet corn & Sunflowers, with pea vines & pole beans. Theoretically, the tall plants will grow up to provide a natural sunshade to windows (this is south facing), and the vines will climb them. So far, the poor corn has been squashed twice by hail, and pummeled by heavy rain, and is currently being held up by BBQ skewers and twine…… necessity is the mother of invention! – Submitted by Sarah in Missouri

We were always disappointed in our garden lettuce due to heat, critters and bolting! This year we decided to plant in a bag of garden dirt! – Submitted by Patricia in Texas
