Simple Body Scrub Recipes

I think that body scrubs make one of the most perfect homemade gifts. Why?

  • They are very thoughtful, just like any homemade gift!
  • They are customizable to your gift recipient.
  • They are something that your gift recipient probably won’t take the time to buy or make for herself.
  • They can be given alone or as part of a gift basket (like the Time To Yourself Gift Basket!)
  • The ingredients are usually something that we all have on hand already.
  • They are super simple to make so you can even make them at the last minute if you have to!

  1. My husband came in with all sorts of stuff stuck to his hands and I made a quick scrub for him with one of your recipes! Worked like a charm! He’s used it several times now.

Also…please get a search box back on your website! I used your recipes a lot and it’s harder to find them without it! Thanks!

  2. I love this idea as gifts. Pinning this so I can get to do this for those drop in guests and dry skin sufferers like myself!
Thanks for sharing this at the DI & DI Link party. We hope you found some new friends and had fun.

    Merry Christmas!

  3. These body scrubs all sound wonderful and I can’t wait to try some of them. But I was wondering what kind of shelf life they have.

    1. It’s going to depend on the ingredients in them. The ones that use fresher ingredients will have a somewhat short life, the ones one with sugar/salt and oils will last longer, up to several months if stored in a cool dry place.

  4. I’m going to make the Coffee Scrub for my daughter’s Year 6 teacher’s ‘Thank You’ gift.

I’m also going to make a trip if scrubs for my sister: Coffee Scrub, Lemon Scrub & maybe the Cinnamon & Vanilla Scrub.

  5. Have u ever made something like face moisturizer ? My friend has psoriasis .some kind of homemade lotion n may b a scrub .
