How to Prepare Kale
Over the next few months we are going to be all about using our garden veggies in new and fun ways! Along with over a dozen other blogs we are going to be sharing great new recipes and tips on using your fresh garden vegetables.
Today it’s all about kale and how to prepare kale for various recipes. Here is a great recipe and some other ideas how to use and eat Kale!

Here’s another super simple recipe using Kale that you are probably make with what you already have on hand.
Strawberry Banana Kale Smoothie
What You Need:
- 1 frozen Banana
- 1/2 cup Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/4 cup Kale
- 1/2 cup Milk (can use a non-dairy milk)
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until pureed. Enjoy as a quick snack or a healthy breakfast! (You can find more Smoothie Recipes here)
