Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • mayo optional
  • mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the warm water, yeast, and sugar.
  2. Let it sit while you are mixing together the flour, olive oil, and salt. Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture.
  3. Knead for about 2 minutes until the dough gets smoother. Roll out and place on a pizza pan in a warm place. While you are getting out the toppings, cover the dough and let it rise just a bit. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  4. When the dough has risen for about 5 minutes it should look a little puffy, stick it in the oven for about 5-6 minutes. Then take it out and spread the mayo on the top(I know it sounds a little different but trust me on this one! It's like a yummy white sauce with a little kick.) If the idea of the mayo scares you a bit, go for a traditional Homemade Pizza Sauce recipe or even just throw together some tomatoes and a few spices in a blender.

  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese (bonus points if you've even made your own Homemade Mozzarella on top of that. You could also add, cooked chicken, tomatoes, or whatever other toppings you like. Stick it back in the oven and back until the crust and the cheese is browned on the top. Enjoy!
