Cheesy Baked Tomatoes Recipe


  • Fresh Garden Tomatoes
  • Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • Olive Oil


  1. Start by slicing up as many tomatoes as you wish to make. We usually make a tomato for each of us, so a good rule of thumb would be one tomato per person.
  2. Drizzle a little bit of olive oil on a baking sheet with sides and lay the tomato slices on it. You can sprinkle a little salt over the top at this time, it's up to you.
  3. Sprinkle some of the mozzarella cheese over the top of the tomatoes. No need to go overboard, we want to taste the fresh tomatoes, not drown them in cheese.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees until the cheese is beginning to brown and they are bubbly. This takes about 15 minutes depending on your oven temp.
