Cheesy French Bread


  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • Egg Whites
  • Shredded Cheese


  1. Add ingredients together in the order indicated in the bread machine. Run on the "Dough" cycle. After it finishes roll into a large roll and let rise in a warm place covered with a clean towel for about 40 minutes.
  2. After it finishes rising brush the surface with egg whites.
  3. Then sprinkle cheese on top. I used cheddar and parmesan.
  4. Bake at 400F for 20 -25 minutes.
