Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Bread

  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips


  1. Mix together all the ingredients except for the flour and the milk.
  2. Add 1 cup of flour and 1/8 c. milk. Mix well, then add in the second cup of flour and the rest of the milk. Whipping this dough mixture with the hand mixers isn't completely necessary, but it will give it a slightly less dense texture. It tastes good either way!

  3. Pour the mixture into 2 greased loaf pans or 4 mini loaf pans.
  4. Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes for mini loaves or 40-45 minutes for a big loaf. (This recipe will make 4 mini loaves or 1 to 2 large loaves, depending on the size of your loaf pan.)
