I love my stainless steel cookware…I really do. But when it comes to things like frying hashbrowns or eggs or anything that is the slightest bit sticky, it seems like no matter how much butter or oil I add to the pan, everything still sticks to the bottom. That means soaking, and scrubbing, and just being a thorn in my side in general. But up until a few weeks ago I didn’t know that I had another option for a healthy non-stick pan.
Then I was emailed by the Xtrema Ceramic Cookware company and I got to learn about their awesome products. Xtrema Cookware is 100% ceramic. It’s natural, non-toxic, and won’t scratch. It’s very durable and Lead and Cadmium and Heavy Toxic Metal Free. The pans are non-stick but they are not sprayed with any kind of chemical non-stick spray, it’s natural!
Xtrema Cookware is also versatile. You can use them on the stove top, in the oven, on the grill, in the toaster oven….pretty much anywhere! Since the cookware is made from 100% ceramic it will never leach any chemicals into your foods…even over time. If you want to see exactly how Xtrema is made you can check it out here.
And as far as variety goes…Xtrema makes cookware, bakeware, teaware, and dining sets, all made with ceramic.
We tested out an Xtrema Ceramic Omelet Pan cooking some eggs. I always have issues drying eggs in my stainless steel frying pan so I thought this would really put it to the test! First we heated up the pan slowly to get it warmed, then we added a little butter and an egg. The egg cooked evenly and the best part….didn’t stick! Consequently that means it was super easy to clean with some of our Homemade Dish Soap.
Xtrema Cookware comes with a 50 year Warranty for pans that crack from heat or cold. I respect a company with a great warranty because then I know they fully stand behind their product!
Xtrema Cookware would like to give one Little House Living reader the chance to win one of their pans! One winner will receive an Omelet Pan just like the one I used above. ($99.99 value) To enter, simply fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck!
