Homemade Turkey Sausage Recipe

These delicious little Turkey Sausages are so easy to make and very customizable!

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  1. In a large bowl, combine the turkey, thyme, garlic, and salt (and onion if desired). You may need to mix with your hands or a spatula to get it well combined.

  2. Place the meat mixture into a quart size freezer bag.

  3. Cut off one of the corners and "pipe" sausages into a 9x13 baking dish or a cookie tray with sides.

  4. Bake the sausages at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the internal temp of the sausages is 165 degrees F.
