3 Ingredient Biscuit Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
  • 1/4 cup COLD Butter NOT margarine
  • 3/4 cup Milk a dairy-free milk will work

Instructions

  1. Preheat over to 425 degrees.
  2. Add flour to the bowl with cold butter cut into pieces.
  3. Incorporate the flour and butter until you get a good crumbly mixture. Stir in milk. Work the dough until it pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

  4. Stir in milk. Work the dough until it pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

  5. Place dough on well-floured surface and roll or pat out until around a half of an inch thick. Resist the urge to over-knead the dough. The less kneading you do, the flakier and light your biscuits will be. Using a biscuit cutter or a cookie cutter, cut out your biscuits and place them on a well-greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 10-14 minutes until golden brown. Let them cool and it's time to eat!

Recipe Notes

These biscuits will freeze well if you want to make a large batch at one time. OR you can even make the recipe and then freeze the dough (after you've cut it into biscuit shapes) and then bake at a later date.
