Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Chips
  • 6 tablespoons Honeybush Tea Red Roobios could also be used
  • 1 tablespoon Orange Peel
  • 1 teaspoon Whole Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Root Pieces

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients together in a small bowl and mix until everything seems to be distributed evenly. Store the tea mixture in a jar or air-tight container until ready to use.
  2. To make tea: Steep one tablespoon of the loose-leaf tea in a tea ball or tea strainer in a mug of hot water for about 3-5 minutes.
  3. To make this tea creamy and more like pumpkin pie, add in a little maple sugar/maple syrup or brown sugar plus some milk or cream (we use oat milk or coconut milk/coconut cream in this one for our family) until it has the desired level of sweetness and creaminess. A little drop of vanilla extract is also a tasty addition.
