Soy Glazed Almonds

Simple way to flavor and roast almonds for a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds raw almonds
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place the raw almonds in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a bowl large enough for the almonds and room to stir, stir together 4 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1/4 t. of red pepper.
  3. When the almonds are done in the oven, transfer them to your bowl with the sauce/seasoning and mix well to coat them.
  4. Spread them back out on your cookie sheet pan while warm and sprinkle them with approx. 1 t. of sea salt. Let them dry and enjoy!
