Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Puffed Corn Cereal
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

Instructions

  1. In a glass container, melted the coconut oil with the honey in the microwave. This can be done over the stovetop as well, but try not to let anything boil.

  2. Place the puffed corn cereal in a large mixing bowl and pour the honey mixture over the top. Stir so that everything is well coated.

  3. Put a piece of parchment paper in the bottom of a baking sheet. I have these stone baking sheets that I got for a wedding gift and have had forever. You don't need stone, but you do need something with sides. Spread it out in the pans as best as you can. Use multiple pans if necessary.

  4. Bake at 250 degrees F for 45 minutes on the bottom rack of the oven, stirring the corn every 15 minutes so it doesn't burn.

  5. Remove from the oven when the time is up. Put parchment paper over your countertops and spread the snack over them as thinly as you can. Let the honey puffed corn cool and dry for a while before enjoying.

  6. Store in an airtight container or bag on the countertop.
