I love Menards! At first I thought it was just a guy store with boring tools and such but once I started watching their ads I realized that it was way better than that!
Each week Menards has an ad that comes out with a bunch of things in with mail in rebates. Many of these items are free after mail in rebates. These freebies make great gifts or you can use them for other things then they are intended for if you are creative! Just this week we bought the free terry cloths and my husband didn’t really need them for anything he’s working on but I did need some rags for polishing furniture!
When you buy something with a mail in rebate a little extra slip will print off at the end of your receipt telling you what rebate number it has for the item. The rebate cards are right by customer service, or by the exit door. You can also print out the rebates online but to save ink I always pick mine up at the store. Don’t lose the little extra slip at the end of your receipt! I’ve made this mistake more than once. They can reprint the receipt for you but the extra slip that you need to send in the rebate can not be reprinted so keep in safe until you send it in! Most Menards rebates can be sent to the same address so you can usually send in about 2 weeks worth of rebates together. The refund will come back to you in the form of Menards credit which we just use to buy more rebated items! Kind of similar to Walgreens Register Rewards but you have to send them in, they aren’t instant.
Menards accepts all manufacturer coupons, internet printed or otherwise. I’ve gotten many good deals there with coupons on items like candles, or household cleaners, or such.
You no longer need to purchase $10 in extra products with free after mail in rebate items!
I hope that explains most of what goes on at Menards. As always if you have any questions, email me at [email protected]
