I've said it before but I'll say it again, I love my bread machine. It's so handy and I love to just be able to put in a few ingredients and, tada!, bread! My favorite thing to stick in the bread machine is pizza dough. Hubby loves pizza, any kind of pizza, so I like to make a double batch of dough, put one crust in the freezer and one for supper. Here is my pizza dough recipe.
What you need:
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 T. oil
- 1 T. sugar
- 1 t. salt
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 c. white flour
- 2 1/4 t. yeast
Add the ingredients in the order listed to the bread machine. Run on a dough cycle.
When it's done you can either make it into crust(I let it rise for about 30 minutes first) or you can stick it in a ziploc bag and put it in the freezer. When you take it out of the freezer to use just sit it on the counter all day and then make my pizza for supper. And if you need a new pizza idea you can always make my famous BBQ Chicken Pizza!

I'm thinking of buying a bread machine. Do you have one that is relatively inexpensive and good that you would reccommend? Thanks! I love reading your blog. It offers me such good ideas as I'm trying to save money too. Thanks for sharing all your ideas. Anything I can do to help spread the word about your blog besides telling others?

I really like it because it's not too big and you can make a few different size loaves in it. I think we will probably see sales on them soon but I wouldn't spend less than $50 on one to insure it was a decent one.
