I got the go-ahead from the hubby last night to start the $100 a month budget again! The holiday's ended up being a little hectic for us between visiting family and building the new site so I stopped for a while but I'm excited to start it up again! If you are new and not sure what I'm talking about...

A few months ago I challenged me and the hubby to go on a $100 a month grocery budget. I will post my grocery trips along the way and any extra money at the end of the month I'm allowed to put towards something that I want. Since I got the Bosch(what I was saving for before) I will have to come up with something new that I need/want to save for!

Oh course I will still go post all my meal plans and such as well. This will be a little more of a challenge for me now because of my new what I can eat and what I can't. Hopefully I can do it! I think I will also try and put a little monthly budget counter on the side of the board so you can see how much I've spent for the month so far. I've also been considering putting a savings counter on the side so you can see how much I save by using coupons and clearance!

I wasn’t a reader of your site when you did this before…Do you do this for just groceries or also for things like shampoo, tp, etc?

Before I just did it for groceries but I’m hoping to be able to include everything this time.

If you can get going with rolling RR’s at Walgreens, you should be able to get most of your household & HBA for free. Takes a little bit to get it going, but I’m still working on my stockpile of shampoo from over a year ago, and it was almost free then

SOOO looking forward to this! I did a “food challenge” and saw just how long I could go without going to the grocery store for anything accept for like milk and eggs. I went almost 2 weeks!! Can’t wait to see your budget and how you work it!!

just started getting social security retirement. not enough to live on but applied for snap. Getting 100 dollars for food would love to see how any one can survive on so little.
