Hi Merissa! I made your english muffins. They turned out wonderful. Thank you for the recipe! In fact, I made another batch tonight using a star cookie cutter. I put them in a gift bag with a small jar of my strawberry jam I spoke with you about a few weeks ago. My kids are going to give them to their teachers for Christmas gifts. I have learned a lot from your blog. Thank you for all you do!

Not too much going on for baking day this week. Hubby made pancakes this morning that I'm going to keep in the freezer for breakfasts. It was a great way to use up the extra buttermilk from making butter last week!

Baking Day Wednesday

by Merissa on October 13, 2010

I had a busy little baking day again today. I think I'm really starting to like Baking Day though. I get alot done and I don't have to worry about it during the week. It's easier baking when you already have everything out for what you need. And it makes my house smell really good:)

Today I made Homemade Bagels, Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, and Cheesy French Bread. Since I took pictures of everything and while I was making it it would make an awfully long post. So I decided I will post each thing in separate posts. It will be easier for me and you! Also this time I typed my recipes up in a printable format. There will be a link at the end of each post to take you to a site to print the recipe!
