Weekly Menu Plans – Fall at Home

In an effort to have a little accountability in my menu plans, I’ve decided to post them here again. I don’t really do a lot of menu planning in the summer because it’s just mostly trying to keep up with whatever garden produce I have for the day, but in the fall/winter/spring I like to have a plan so that we can have a better school day.

This is our plan for this week. I have the recipes linked for some but I haven’t posted all of them yet! There are a few days we will be gone which is noted by the day. On these days we have a snacky type of lunch that I can pack. We sometimes have sandwiches if I happen to have lunch meat on hand.

This plan is for our family of 5 who are all home every day since we mostly work from home. This week I won’t be including Saturday and Sunday’s plans because we are camping.

Hopefully, these plans will encourage you to make a plan of your own! For more details on how I menu plan, check out my post on The Easiest Meal Planning Method Ever.

**I do not plan side dishes, we make those from whatever fruits/veggies we have on hand that week.

***If you’ve made it this far I’m sure you are wondering what the “Freezer Foods” are on my meal plan…

Basically, my freezers are currently full and we need to eat out of them so on those days that I planned “Freezer Food” for lunch, I’ll head out to the freezer in the morning and pick out some things and make a meal out of it!***

I don’t typically plan our snacks but there are a few things that I know that I’m making this week in addition to these meals so I’m including those recipes here too:

What are you making this week?

  1. I would love to see what you do for meals while camping! We were camping this weekend too and I find myself just leaning towards grilling as much over the fire as possible (less dishes!), planning on catching a fish at least once, and making bulk amounts of pasta, macaroni, and potato salad. It’s the same pretty much every time so I’d love to hear what others do! And also, what is your routine for packing and storing it all?

    1. I can work on that when we get home! We typically take our camper with us of course when we are camping so I have a whole routine on that but in this case we are staying at a dry cabin so my packing will look a bit different. I love having some things prepped ahead of time though too so I can relax more while camping 🙂

    1. I’m going to try and get them this week. It’s one of those things that I’ve made often but haven’t found it “special” enough to post 🙂 I’ll work on that!
