Frugal Christmas Appetizers

Are you still on the hunt for some yummy finger foods to make to go with your Christmas feast?

Each year on Christmas Eve our family does a “snacky day”. Pretty much all we eat all day is snack foods, cookies, and appetizers. I’m not sure when or how the tradition got started but we like it!

Today I thought I’d share with you some of my frugal appetizer recipes that can be used for Christmas.

Cheesy Sprinkle Crackers – Top crackers or baguette slices with cheese slices, sprinkles, herbs. Cheese can be melted.

  1. Merissa, these are great! So many of them can be adapted to various “diets,” too, if folks are dairy-free, wheat-free, etc! LOVE that!

    We don’t do this on Christmas Eve, but it 100% our NEW YEAR’S EVE tradition, every year!! Always looking for fun switch-ups besides the baked artichoke dip, mini cocktail dogs/meatballs, and the classic cream-cheese/Hormel chili/cheddar cheese microwave dip!!! Thanks for posting!!!
