  1. I think you caught me when I was hungry because it all looks good and I am missing the family and church potlucks right now. 🙂

  2. Raspberry Shrub is a delicious and good-for-you drink. I like making it with seltzer water so it has a fizz. All it is is 1 tsp of raspberry vinegar in 8 oz of water, add sweetener of your choice. My son says it tastes kind of like raspberry flavored yogurt.

  3. Hi Merissa,

Thanks for these easy recipes. I just love your site! I would love to see future articles on easy prep recipes, hacks, tips for camping. My husband and I don’t own an RV so we need ideas that requires minimal storage space, prep time and food ideas that don’t require as much refrigeration (w/o resorting to freeze-dried camping food).

Thanks and keep up such a positive website!

  4. Taco dip as a meal? I thought only MY family did that!

We love grilling anything and everything. My go-to is a good ol’ fashioned burger (we use vegan burgers when we can!), or carrot dogs instead of regular hot dogs.

Fave side dishes are corn-on-the-cob when it’s in season, pasta salads, or baked apple “fries”. To make them, I slice up apples, and then cut them thin/longways to make them look like french fries. I coat them in a cinnamon sugar blend, and then wrap them in a foil packet, adding a good dollop of butter/margarine. Toss the whole packet on the grill and mmmmm, soooo good.

  5. GREAT Collection..Thank You Merissa..for all your hard work..love getting your e-mails..we all appreciate you so much.. THANK YOU!!
