Do you have a use for fern dill?? I have a huge plant but not sure what to do with it. I have usually only cut it and put it in the cavity of a chicken along with other herbs for seasoning.
But have lots right now and want to know how to use it
    Thank you

Yes, I love to add it to soup! It has a small bit different taste than dill seeds but it makes an excellent addition to soup. And if you can’t use it all right away you can dry it and use it later. It’s also good in a dill dip when it’s dried, just add a bit + some salt to sour cream 🙂

I love to use dill fresh when making a whole roasted salmon. I also really love the flavor when it is dried. My favorite recipe is with green beans cooked, melted butter and white vinegar. Just sprinkle on the green beans after adding butter and vinegar to taste. Leftovers are great since the flavor gets absorbed by the beans.

Dill is great in salad and on chicken. I take 2 cucumbers, pealed and sliced, 4 cups milk, 1 cup vinegar, 2 cups miracle whip, pepper salt, beat the milk, vinegar, miracle whip, add salt pepper, and dill to taste. Let chill. if you want a more vinegar taste add more. As for chicken, dill, cilantro, olive oil and lime is a great marinade with a touch of Patron tequila.
I like to Slow back the chicken and keep basting with the mixture.
    Hope that helps.

Dill and potatoes ! Boiled new potatoes and dill, a bit of butter and salt and pepper . Yum! A simple potato salad using potatoes , sweet onions , s & p, dressed with mayo & sour cream and dill.
