Sweet Potato and Apple Fruit Leather – Using the Garden Veggies
We are just one week away from ending our Using the Garden Veggies series. Have you made any of the recipes from it this year? What kind of delicious recipes are you making with your garden produce right now? Have you been canning and preserving?
Today’s featured veggie is the Sweet Potato. Have you grown sweet potatoes before? I’d love to try someday!
Sweet Potatoes are hard to find to plant but since they are becoming increasingly popular, I’ve seen the slips for sale in more places. You can always plant old sweet potatoes that might be “growing” in your pantry.
Today’s featured recipe is amazing! When I found it earlier this year I just had to make it for my boys, they absolutely love sweet potatoes. If you have little ones that love sweet treats, you have to make these!
You can find the recipe over on the Yearning and Learning blog, enjoy!
