    Hi,
I made your white bread recipe yesterday, it was delicious. I am wondering if you have a whole wheat recipe to use with the bosch machine. Thanks so much, Lisa

Lisa, you could actually sub half the white flour for wheat or all of it for wheat in that recipe and it works really well too!

I had unexpected guests one morning, so I made your Irish Brown bread except that I added 1 cup of soaked raisons. It was outrageous. I might get around to telling the family that it wasn’t a lot of work; but then again, I might not.

You said that you cannot use the all-purpose gluten free flour 1:1 in recipes. How does it break down? Do you use it 1.5 to 1 or what? I am looking for a good homemade bread recipe that doesn’t use any wheat. Thanks for your help.

I’m not sure of an excat substitution for bread since I have yet to find a gluten free bread recipe that still tastes worth eating. But on most other things (cookies, quick breads, ect) you can use a 1:1 substitution.

I think the site has been hacked. Today some of the links lead to random ads that have nothing to do with the topic I clicked on. Especially the white bread recipe and the Simple Living link.

Do you have a recipe for stuffing bread? Im getting to the point I can not eat the boxed stuffing and want to make my own using my own homemade stuffing bread.

Do you use a grain mill? If so, what grain mill do you use or recommend?

When I was grinding my own wheat I was using a grain mill, since we’ve gone gluten free my mom still uses the one I had which was a Wondermill 🙂

I love your site. I have a question. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but I love pita bread. Though I haven’t used your recipe yet this is the problem I’m having. When I cook the pita bread only one or two puff up properly. Its a challenge getting the others open without tearing them up. I put them in a paper sack, but by the next day they are beginning to get hard. After a few days they are so hard that I could drive a nail into a stud with them without breaking them. What do you think I’m doing wrong? Thanks so much.

Do you have any recipes for Challah( Jewish egg bread), either with or without a bread machine? Or could one of these be adapted?
