Waffle and pancake mix can be used interchangeably, but you will get the best results if you use a waffle batter recipe for waffles or a pancake recipe for pancakes.

If you don’t like bananas, here are some things you can try and sub for them in your waffle.

Instructions for Making Banana Waffles
In a bowl, mash up bananas, and mix in egg yolks and flour.
In a separate bowl, beat egg white with a whisk or an electric mixer until they are frothy and form soft peaks.
Once soft peaks have formed, blend (or fold in) ingredients from the other bowl.
Keep folding in until all the ingredients are well incorporated, and you have a smooth batter.
Now your batter is ready for the waffle maker! Follow your waffle makers instructions to cook your waffle properly. Top the finished waffles with maple syrup and serve with fresh fruit.
