These pancakes have good flavor. Top them with butter and maple syrup or our personal fave… cream cheese and strawberries!
Freezing Gluten Free Pancakes
To save time, you can make a double batch of these pancakes and freeze some for another day!
To freeze, allow the pancakes to cool and place them in a freezer bag or container. If you’re worried about them sticking together, you can flash freeze them in a single layer before adding to the freezer container or use a piece of parchment paper between them.

We have been gluten free for three years and this is probably the easiest and best buttermilk pancake recipe we have tried. I used King Arthur’s Flour mix and they were so light and fluffy, which is hard to do gluten free. We will be making these often. Thanks!
I just darted to be gluten free and I have found your site very happy with the receptors thank you so much
Just wanted to come back and say that I made these this morning and they were great! Thank you. Making some extras for the freezer.
I’m so glad you liked them! This is one of our favorite recipes 🙂
Thank you for this recipe!
Any sub for the buttermilk powder?
You could simply leave it out and add a little buttermilk to the final recipe (reducing the amount of other liquids added).
TY!
Hi, I can’t have dairy, if I leave out the buttermilk powder would I put less water in the recipe?
I would use this recipe instead: https://www.littlehouseliving.com/pancake-recipe-from-scratch.html
