Easy Homemade Soap Recipes
This year I’ve been hoping to get more into soap making. I’ve done it before in the past but I’m hoping to teach myself some new techniques in the next few years like making soap with goat’s milk and lard since I will have both resources naturally available soon.
As I was seeking out soap recipes I though that this might be a great idea for a new blog post! So today I’m sharing with you some fun easy homemade Soap Recipes that I’ve come across recently that you might want to try!
These Easy Sugar Scrub Flowers are a soap in disguise. I love that they offer the exfoliating power of a sugar scrub with the added cleaning benefit of a soap! Plus these would make some really cute gifts.
This Homemade Lavender Soap looks like a fun one to make if you grow your own Lavender in an herb garden. It uses a Shea Butter Soap Base so I bet it’s really moisturizing.
We’ve been making this Homemade Foaming Hand Soap for years! It’s very inexpensive as a liquid soap and when you have a little one that loves “soap bubbles” and plenty of them every time he washes his hands…having an inexpensive soap is a budget saver.
I definitely am going to make to make some of this DIY Gardener’s Scrub Soap for this summer! I’ve always used a Gardener’s Hand Scrub but this looks like a good option as well.
DIY Glycerin Soap would be a fun project to work on with the little ones to introduce them to the art of soap making. Plus my little guy would love putting little dinosaurs in his soap!
This Homemade Bar Soap is a great simple cold press soap to try. It only uses a few basic ingredients and can be inexpensively made without using a store bought soap base.
This Orange Flax Seed Soap is made in a slow cooker! That would be a great way to make soap in the summer without heating up the house.
This Homemade Bath Soap is so frugal! It uses a single bar of soap (Which you could buy or make from one of these other recipes on the page!) and makes an entire gallon of body wash.
Isn’t this Paprika & Poppy Seed Soap so pretty? The color is all natural and not made by using dyes. I think this one would make a really nice Christmas gift.
Here’s a simple Lavender Goat’s Milk Soap using a goat’s milk soap base. I will have to try it once I figure out how to make that base!
Homemade Dish Soap is simple but effective and uses far less ingredients than it’s store bought counterpart.
Do you make homemade soap? Do you have a favorite soap recipe?
I need scent free products and will be making that handsoap as soon as I order some Castille!
Thank you for featuring my soap tutorials! Using spices for color or texture is my favorite way to use old spices.
We are going to try to live out of an rv to get out of debt. Very nervous. We have two kids. The kids have a separate area but not and actual room. Just a curtain. We don’t have a dresser in our room either. did you sell everything to move?
We did sell most things yes. My rule was to sell anything that was replaceable or anything that I didn’t use on a weekly basis.
This is a great idea! Thanks for sharing at Think Tank Thursday.
