18 Absolutely Delightful Quick Sweet Bread Recipes

Who doesn’t love a nice thick slice of a good quick sweet bread recipe warm — straight from the oven — and coated with butter? Quick Breads are great for a simple snack or a sweet breakfast. You can top with homemade jam, butter, or maybe even a nut butter depending on the flavor. Quick Breads can also be a great way to use up old fruits and vegetables so they won’t go to waste, such as using brown bananas in Banana Bread or using the overabundance of zucchini in Zucchini Bread. Plus since they aren’t as finicky as a yeast bread, quick breads can often be successfully made gluten free.

No matter how you like to make them or eat them, quick sweet bread recipes will always have a place at our table. Today I’ve gathered up a list of 18 of my favorite easy quick bread recipes and I’m sharing them with you. Hopefully, you will find something to satisfy your snack cravings this afternoon!

Lemon Quick Breads

I love making lemon bread in the spring and this Lemon Poppyseed Bread Recipe is a great one to have! It’s easy to make because you can either make the full recipe or make the mix version for an even “quicker” bread that you can have ready in your pantry. Another yummy lemon bread variation is a good Lemon Blueberry Bread.

Cinnamon Quick Breads

Cinnamon Bread is a fun quick bread to make when you don’t want a fruit based bread. The crumble on top really makes the bread! Add a little fruit and make this Apple Cinnamon Bread version as an alternative. Either of these loaves of bread makes a really great breakfast.
